1.1 Background of the Study

Climate change poses significant challenges to agriculture, especially in regions like Dass Local Government Area (LGA) in Bauchi State, where farming is a primary livelihood. Climate-smart agriculture (CSA) offers a sustainable approach to addressing these challenges by promoting farming practices that are resilient to climate change. Television, as a widely accessible medium, can play a crucial role in educating farmers about CSA techniques and practices. This study explores the role of television in educating farmers in Dass LGA on climate-smart agriculture.
